A passion project exploring untold stories of legendary football players and culture
CARSON, Calif. - Californer -- "What if... all the football players went to one high school, how dominant would they be?" That is a burning question on the minds of many Carson natives for decades. One City One Team, LLC has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $500K to produce a feature film & docu-series to answer that question by chronicling a legendary story of diverse football athletes raised in the city of Carson, California.
This story unlocks the history, decade-by-decade from the 1960's to present day, of the football culture that birthed champions with pride and excellence. OCOT commits to display the passion and energy of this project and bring the experience to life of the legends that were created from this multi-cultural city. The end result includes a feature film, accompanied by a six-part docu-series, highlighting the influence of championship football that was cultivated and shaped the lives of athletes, auxiliaries and their supportive families living within and bordering the city of Carson.
Led by Dion "Flea" Lee (Carson High class of '88) and backed by an experienced production team who hail from Carson, fuel this extraordinary project giving viewers insight into the culture of greatness that is cemented in the football community growing up in the City of Carson.
