10-Year-Old Osir Payton Featured by BlackDoctor.org After Attending Black Men in White Coats Convention — A Legacy of Excellence in the Making
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. - Californer -- A powerful legacy is being built—one rooted in excellence, healing, and vision. This past weekend, 10-year-old Osir Payton took a major step toward his dream of becoming a doctor by attending the Black Men in White Coats Youth Summit, hosted by the doctors of Cedars-Sinai Hospital at the Los Angeles Convention Center. While he gave up a national golf competition to attend, Osir gained something far greater: purpose, exposure, and a feature interview with BlackDoctor.org, the leading health and wellness platform for Black communities.
"I want to be a doctor who helps kids and makes them feel better," Osir shared. "And I want to show other boys that you can be smart, strong, and still have fun."
Osir is the son of Heidi Payton, a seasoned business strategist, spa CEO, and licensed massage therapist with over 20 years of experience in clinical and holistic wellness. Heidi is the visionary behind New Wave Rejuvenation, a high-performance therapeutic wellness practice serving athletes, expecting mothers, oil industry professionals, and purpose-driven individuals who prioritize healing and recovery at the highest level.

"Watching my son interviewed by BlackDoctor.org while surrounded by Black physicians who poured into him was one of the most profound moments of my motherhood," Heidi reflects. "We missed a tournament that day, but we walked into a destiny download. It was a divine setup."
Osir's pivot from the Drive, Chip & Putt tournament to a room filled with doctors and leaders exemplifies what his family lives by: alignment over appearance, purpose over pressure. A multi-sport athlete and honor roll student, Osir is entering middle school with clarity, character, and a calling.
This media moment marks not just the start of Osir's journey—but also the beginning of New Wave Rejuvenation's media rollout for 2025. With a new location on the horizon and growing visibility among elite athletes and high-performing professionals, the brand is quietly becoming the go-to sanctuary for luxury recovery, sports therapy, and legacy-centered wellness.
