LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (PACE) is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $1 million grant over three years from the Citi Foundation's Community Progress Makers initiative. This award will enable PACE to expand its impact in driving economic mobility for Los Angeles residents while enhancing the health and environmental conditions of the region.
The Community Progress Makers initiative empowers community organizations to connect low-income communities and communities of color to greater social and economic opportunity. With this grant, PACE will leverage its services to help these communities venture into the green economy through small business assistance, energy and environmental education, and workforce development.
"With the generous support from the Citi Foundation, PACE will continue to drive Los Angeles towards an equitable and climate-resilient economy," expressed Kerry Doi, President and CEO of PACE.
