SAN DIEGO - Californer -- Construction on the Portland area's 12 Mile Crossing, an 82-unit multifamily project, is nearing completion – with San Diego-based Sunrise Management taking over the lease-up and day-to-day management activities.
Developed in partnership between McKenzie River Company and Gibbins Kaplan Development LLC, the new three-story community consists of four buildings on 3.42 acres and is located at 588 Southeast 217th Ave., in Gresham, Oregon – just 12 miles east of Portland.

"Both Gresham and East Multnomah counties are experiencing strong demand for new apartments at this price point, so 12 Mile Crossing fills an important void," he said.
Located near North Gresham Elementary School as well as major employers, 12 Mile Crossing is ideally situated near major freeways, I-84 and I-205. Rents will range from $1,375 to $2,025.
