Rare Public Screenings at Creative Chakra Film Festival

TARZANA, Calif. - Californer -- Creative Chakra Film Festival is the place to be for films and wellness, at the nature-inspired private retreat: Creative Chakra Spa.

The festival showcases films that heal, inspire, and transform – within a serene environment designed to awaken the senses. More than a film festival, the event aims to be provide an immersive experience that includes wellness activities, music, and conscious creativity.

Included in the program are two internationally well-received conscious creativity projects directed/edited and co-written/produced by Laurie Lamson.

"Live and Learn" is Jamaican singer/songwriter Demo Delgado's reggae music video that  aired on Hype-TV in Jamaica, Soweto-TV in South Africa, Tempo TV Networks' (the MTV of the Caribbean, reached #3 on their chart) and was recently included in a music video viewing party at Amplified Studios in Carlsbad, CA. It screens in the 3:30p block, and is a finalist for an award in the Creative Chakra Film Festival.

Eternal Waltz is a mystical short romance that has earned 14 honors internatonally and currently airs on Roku as part of the San Diego Indie Film Network. The film is scheduled in the "Culture and Love" block starting at 4:30pm on Saturday. Lead actress, co-writer/producer Cindy Marinangel and Laurie Lamson are scheduled for a Q&A.

Laurie is also offering free chakra clearings to help support the wellness experience at the festival.

The entire event is produced and hosted by Sandie West, a filmmaker, actor, screenwriter, pink power ranger, yoga teacher, and the owner of Creative Chakra Spa.
