EUREKA, Calif. - Californer -- ReProp Financial announced today the addition of Mark Hunton, a seasoned commercial lending professional with more than 25 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Small Business Administration (SBA) lending.
Mark brings a proven track record of strong production and relationship-driven growth across a wide range of commercial real estate sectors. His background spans both private and institutional lending environments, with deep expertise in sales strategy, credit analysis, loan structuring, and sourcing new and existing client relationships. Throughout his career, Mark has applied a disciplined, cognitive approach to lending, helping commercial real estate owners align financing solutions with long-term operational and financial goals.
In his role, Mark will focus on delivering commercial lending solutions to local businesses and professionals throughout the Southwest. He is widely respected for maintaining strong, collaborative relationships across the lending ecosystem.

Beyond his production experience, Mark has played an influential role in shaping lending policy and industry standards. He was appointed to the Arizona Neighborhood Preservation Investment Initiative (NPII), a gubernatorial initiative that advanced residential community revitalization legislation to the Arizona State Assembly and contributed to the formation of the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH).
Mark also served as Past President of the Arizona Commercial Mortgage Lenders Association from 2008–2009. During his tenure, he authored and helped pass House Bill 2486 (HB2486), landmark legislation that established the Commercial Mortgage Broker designation with the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a minor in Economics from the University of the Pacific. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his adult children and embracing empty-nester activities including hiking, golf, tennis, and learning the art of glass blowing.
