LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Snell & Wilmer Partner Rose B. Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Los Angeles Partner Rose B. Sorensen has been selected for inclusion in Los Angeles Business Journal's Leaders of Influence: Private Equity Investors and Advisors list.
The Leaders of Influence: Private Equity Investors and Advisors is dedicated to spotlighting Los Angeles based private equity investors who oversee major deals and the advisors who play an integral role in their success. Of the nearly 100 nominees submitted for inclusion this year, only 43 were selected. Sorensen is one of 12 attorneys represented on the list.

Sorensen is a partner in the firm's Corporate and Securities group, whose practice includes mergers and acquisitions, joint, reorganizations, commercial finance, private placements, venture capital, corporate governance, telecommunications services, joint ventures, licensing and entity structure and formation. She has experience handling a range of large-scale mergers and acquisitions, project and corporate financings and restructurings in a variety of industries including the technology, healthcare, food and beverage, manufacturing, retail consumer brand, business services, aerospace and defense, and construction and building materials industries. Sorensen also has extensive experience counseling foreign-based businesses on the legal issues involved with entering the United States and cultural familiarity to facilitate cross-border interactions.

Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer from an international law firm, Sorensen served as General Counsel of a private cable operator and internet service provider with operations throughout California, Arizona and Texas. She handled a variety of telecommunications transactions, including video, Internet, telephone, rooftop antenna and wireless services transactions (including right of entry agreements) for multifamily projects, mixed-use and master planned communities and commercial properties.
