San Francisco Farm Bureau Members awarded at San Francisco's Fermentation Lab in Japantown.
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- The San Francisco Farm Bureau (SFFB) hosted its inaugural Holiday Party and Awards Ceremony at San Francisco's stunning Fermentation Lab in Japantown on December 10, 2024.
The event was free to SFFB Members and featured numerous agricultural stalwarts and advocates, including California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, California Farm Bureau President Shannon Douglass, San Francisco Farm Bureau President Gary Soiseth, and many more. The awards recognized people and organizations that embody and champion the SFFB Mission of supporting local urban agriculture through advocacy, technology, and education.
The following Individuals and Organizations received an an award from the San Francisco Farm Bureau for their dedicated commitment to advancing the mission and goals in 2024:
The SFFB opened in 2024 as the first farm bureau to be established in nearly 50 years and became the 54th County Farm Bureau within the California Farm Bureau (CFB). With over 100 Members joining in the first year, SFFB has established itself as a record-breaking bureau within the CFB. SFFB has big plans for 2025, including increased agricultural education, member events throughout the region and urban agricultural advocacy in California.
