Those engaged in peaceful protest are strongly encouraged to protect their own health and the health of others by using face coverings and, to the extent possible, maintaining social distancing. Those who have been in close contact with others at large gatherings are encouraged to get tested for COVID-19 within three to five days of exposure, and to watch for any symptoms of COVID-19. There are numerous facilities across the county that offer free testing, which can be found at sccfreetest.org.
The updated order will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020, and will remain in effect until the Health Officer amends or rescinds it. For more information, visit the County Public Health Department's website.
