Background:Spaces are still available for volunteers to participate in these upcoming outdoor events.

Volunteer responsibilities include cleaning and beautifying San Tomas Park, pruning the variety of 3,500 roses at Municipal Rose Garden, and learning about trail and restoration work while hiking Alum Rock Trail.

All event sessions will require volunteers to follow current COVID-19 safety protocol measures such as face coverings, social distancing, and symptom checks.

Volunteers are provided with all necessary tools and training, and are asked to bring a water bottle, snacks, and wear closed toed shoes.
