LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11, 2025 ~ Selena Gomez, the founder and creator of Rare Beauty and the Rare Impact Fund, has announced that the third annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit will take place on October 29th in Los Angeles. The event will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning comedian and late-night host Jimmy Kimmel and will feature a special performance by The Marías.
This year's benefit, titled "A Night of Radiance and Reflection," marks a significant milestone for the Rare Impact Fund as it celebrates five years since its founding. As part of this momentous occasion, the Fund will shine a spotlight on five of its 30 nonprofit global partners on stage. This programming aims to showcase the personal stories, community impact, and cultural relevance of organizations working on the front lines of mental health.
Elyse Cohen, Chief Impact Officer at Rare Beauty and President of the Rare Impact Fund, expressed her excitement for this year's event. "Five years ago, we set out to expand access to youth mental health. What began as a vision has become a thriving community rooted in compassion, fueled by action, and united by the idea that access to mental health is a fundamental right," she said. Cohen also emphasized how integral the Rare Impact Fund Benefit has been in their continued growth and how it serves as a moment to reflect on their achievements while also acknowledging the work that still needs to be done.

The fundraiser is known for its non-traditional cocktail-style format that brings together a global community of advocates for an inspiring evening dedicated to advancing the Rare Impact Fund's mission. This year's goal is to mobilize $100 million for organizations that increase access to mental health services and education for young people.
Selena Gomez shared her gratitude towards Jimmy Kimmel and The Marías for joining her in shining a light on youth mental health. "Their support means the world – not just to me but to millions of young people this work touches around the globe," she said.
Since its launch in 2020, the Rare Impact Fund has raised over $20 million and supported 30 nonprofit partners across five continents, benefiting 2 million people annually. This year's fundraiser is expected to have an even greater impact with the support of Rare Beauty, Sephora, Pinterest, Pacsun, lululemon, Google.org, and UCLA Health.
Jimmy Kimmel also expressed his appreciation for being invited to host the event. "The world is an increasingly difficult place, especially for young people. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and I'm honored to help support their great work," he said.
