LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Singer-songwriter Sheyda released her sophomore single, "GTG," today, Friday, April 30. Co-written by Sheyda, Willie Breeding and Jessica Cayne, "GTG," is a lively female empowerment anthem that has Sheyda's powerhouse vocals on full display. You can listen to the song here (https://fanlink.to/SGtg).

In an exclusive interview with Music Crowns (https://www.musiccrowns.org/premieres/sheyda-sh...), Sheyda shared how the song came to life, "I got a last-minute call to take a road trip with two of my dear girlfriends with a guy we barely knew to a state we'd never been in, to a boat house with more guys we didn't know. I was quite concerned and demanded that I drive and that I would be bringing a crowbar, mase and all kinds of other weapons, and it all ended up being one of the most magical weekends ever."

She released her debut single, "The Dragon," earlier this year which discusses the struggle of addiction, and that of those who watch a loved one deal with addiction. American Songwriter (https://americansongwriter.com/the-dragon-sheyda-premiere/) applauded the song for its "courageous acknowledgment and clash with addiction inspires a change." With her debut and "GTG", the California native has always strived to spread meaningful messages through her vulnerable and insightful lyrics.
