CHICO, Calif. - Californer -- The Sierra North Valley Realtors (SNVR) will shake, stir, and stir up some good this Halloween season with its Cocktail Shake-Off, a charity fundraiser set for Friday, October 23, from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Westport, 603 Broadway St. in downtown Chico.
The event invites "all ghouls and goblins" to sip for a cause. Guests will sample craft cocktails from 10 themed booths, then enjoy a full serving of their favorite. The evening also features a silent auction, a costume contest — spookiest, goofiest, and most elaborate ensembles encouraged — and food available for purchase from the El Patio food truck. Bragging rights will be awarded for Best Killer Drink and Spookiest Booth.

Alora Flucard, event organizer and Realtor with Parkway Real Estate Co.: "This is what our Realtor community does best — we come together, we have fun, and we give back. Ten booths, 150 of our friends, and every dollar going to two incredible causes. Put on a costume, come thirsty, and bring a canned good for an extra chance to win."
The event is organized in part by Flucard, who chairs three committees and serves as the association's social chair.
Sara Barroso, Co-owner of The Westport: "We love opening our doors for nights like this — the whole building comes alive. A packed house, a great cause, and a little Halloween fun? That's exactly what the Westport is for."
The Halloween Cocktail Shake-Off is sponsored by Synergy One Lending, Murdock's Moving & Storage, Approved by Ben, Parkway Real Estate Co., Amber Aston Real Estate, and NEXA Mortgage.
