Americana singer/songwriter Bill Filipiak has launched a new podcast focused on helping listeners start their day on a positive note every morning. Each one to two minute episode highlights positive approaches to combating negativity.

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. - Californer -- "Every day we're inundated with negativity. Whether it's social media, the news, traffic, work, or just life in general, the world has a way of bombarding us with mental challenges," Says Filipiak. "Sometimes all it takes is someone wishing us a great day to help us get started on a positive note. I started posting daily pep talks to help provide people that foundation, and the response has been incredible."

The format of the podcast is a quick musical open followed by one to two minutes focusing on a single topic about staying positive. Filipiak explains, "Most podcasts are thirty to sixty minutes long and great for a commute or if you've got the time to listen to something of that length. I thought, why not provide people with something short and sweet. An easy listen that just gets them thinking in a positive way."

Topics range from inspirational quotes from coaches and celebrities to metaphors about the ocean.

"I have always found a profound correlation between life and the ocean," Filipiak notes. "Life is very much a series of waves that we ride. Some are short. some are long, some are rough, and others are smooth. The trick is to learn from every wave and utilize the knowledge we gain as we get ready to navigate the next wave life presents us with."

The Americana Coast Podcast is available on a number of platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Pocket Casts, Podcast Addict, Amazon and others.
