ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - Californer -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Sarah G. Odegaard has recently rejoined the firm's Orange County office as counsel.
Odegaard focuses her practice in commercial litigation and handles sensitive and catastrophic torts cases for clients across industries. She defends schools, universities, non-profits, religious entities and other child-serving entities in complex negligence cases involving allegations of assault. Odegaard also represents manufacturers and companies in complex product liability cases and has litigated a wide range of disputes in state and federal courts. Before joining Snell & Wilmer, Odegaard represented common interest developments in litigation and transactional matters. Prior to that, she litigated childhood sexual abuse cases at a national firm based in Minnesota.
Odegaard was a product liability litigation associate based in the Orange County office from 2017-2021, and counsel in 2022. Immediately prior to rejoining the firm, she was Of Counsel at Quarles & Brady LLP. She received her J.D. from University of Minnesota Law School where she graduated cum laude, and her B.A. in Urban Studies from Macalester College, where she also graduated cum laude. Odegaard was named a Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2014 and 2015, and a Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2020 and 2021.
