"Carving" Time for the Family Feast

Every family has the one must have-dish or recipe passed down through the years that becomes a staple for Thanksgiving dinner. Whether you're waking up and watching the 95th year of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade or you're prepping the afternoon for the traditional Thanksgiving Day football game. Attitude of Gratitude

Let's not forget the most important aspect of the entire holiday season — having an attitude of gratitude. One of our Thanksgiving traditions is Turkey on the Table. It is a reusable turkey, where you write down what you are thankful for on a feather. You can have each person do one every day in November leading up to Thanksgiving or have everyone write one before dinner. One of my favorite things is looking back at the feathers that we have written over the years. We also love that each turkey provides ten meals to a person in need through Turkey on the Table's partnership with Feeding America.
