HAYWARD, Calif. - Californer -- Naya Rivera's death was one of the most devastating events that has happened this year. She had gone out on a trip to the lake with her son. They went out on a boat and likely decided to take a swim. Her son was later found alone in the boat and Naya was nowhere to be found. Her body was found 3 days later after she disappeared. Based on the evidence that was found, she was found floating in the northeastern portion of the lake, sources from the Los Angeles Times reported. There were no other signs of any type of physical injury or pertinent illness based off of the examination on her body. This case was shocking to many and raised a lot of questions as to what could have happened to her while she was out on a harmless boat ride with her young son. Based on sources, it was said that the lake's visibility was extremely poor, which makes it dangerous to swim in. It is most likely that Naya had a hard time trying to get back on the boat because of the conditions of the lake that day. She may have been able to save her son however she may not have had the strength to get herself to safety.
