L.A. Theatre Works records the Los Angeles premiere of Multi-Tony® award-winner Tom Stoppard's hilariously mind-bending comedy about the origins of human consciousness.
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- In "The Hard Problem," by acclaimed Tony Award-winning playwright Tom Stoppard, Hilary believes fervently that consciousness is more than the sum of our biology. Theatre Works presents the Los Angeles premiere of The Hard Problem by Tom Stoppard Nov. 15 through Nov. 17 at UCLA's James Bridges Theater.
Each of the four performances will be recorded live in front of an audience for future radio broadcast, distribution on CD, digital download and online streaming. L.A. Theatre Works' syndicated radio theater series broadcasts weekly on public radio stations across the U.S. (locally, in Southern California, on KPFK 90.7 FM); can be heard daily in China and around the world at Radio Beijing; can be downloaded as a podcast via iTunes and NPR One; and can be streamed on demand.
