This round, VeganFlix Studio proudly supports the following exceptional projects:
- Billie Dean and Andrew Einspruch with A Slice of Heaven: A humorous, satirical, and heartwarming web series about a sensitive vegan creative couple who move to the countryside and confront casual cruelty and outdated attitudes toward animals.
- Emmanuel Joster with Born This Way: A personal documentary chronicling the challenges and triumphs of advocating for veganism in Uganda.
- Luciana Daniela Gagliardo and Nikashnók with Santuario Sierra del Cielo: A poignant film capturing a woman's transformation to veganism while volunteering at an animal rescue center.
- Nabaasa Innocent Amumpaire with Born Empathetic: A short film exploring children's innate compassion for animals. The story follows a group of children visiting a local farm, contrasting their natural empathy with the learned indifference of the adult world.
- Yayoi Lena Winfrey with What's On Your Palette?: A stirring animated short about a mother cow's heartbreak after her calf is taken to be sold as veal, highlighting the disconnect between consumer choices and their impact on animal lives.
