SAN JOSE, Calif. - Californer -- The Recording Academy (Grammys) has recently invited Dr Cyril Deaconoff, Artistic Director of the Voices of Silicon Valley to become a voting member. This follows the commercial recording by Voices of Silicon Valley of Stockhausen masterpiece's Stimmung, released on Orpheus Classical label, a first for an American group. Also included in that recording were pieces composed by Dr Deaconoff.
To follow this path breaking trajectory, this October 2021 Voices of Silicon Valley (VOSV) will present an online show: Together at Last. The program includes a rarely performed masterpiece by Luciano Berio, Cries of London, originally written for King's Singers. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Cyril Deaconoff, VOSV will present a semi-staged version of this work and an optional 3D version for virtual reality (VR) headsets
