Silicon Valley, CA company expending its services to offer architectural shapes and crown moldings to construction, renovations and architectural companies

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Californer -- WeCutFoam, a Bay Area, CA based company specializing in foam cutting, machining and prototyping, is expending its services to include fabrication of crown molding and architectural shapes to construction and renovation companies, architecture companies and to anyone in need. The company creates crown moldings, columns, arches, balusters, pillars, caps and bases, medallions, pediments and flowers, sills, door and window trims, fire place and monument signs.

The crown moldings are made of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) or XPS (Extruded Polystyrene) foam on a CNC hot wire foam cutting machine. Other architectural shapes can be machined on the company's CNC router milling machines. The moldings are used as a decorative trim to line the area where the ceiling meets the wall. WeCutFoam fabricates any type or style, from streamlined and simple moldings to formal and dramatic ones, and even a very detailed decorated ones. The company creates any custom style that will make the transition from walls to ceilings smooth yet noticeable, artistic and decorative. The end user – contractor, architect or home owner can cover it with wood, or with stucco.

"We are ecstatic to be able to offer yet another service to our customers as we aim to constantly expend our business, keep up with the market innovations and needs" says Sigal Barnea, Co-Owner. Sigal continued to say "Our customers are our guide and compass. We received many inquiries recently for cutting and machining architectural shapes from various contractors and construction companies who mentioned they were looking for a fast and reliable solution to supply their needs and we love the challenges of tight deadline schedules"

The right-made crown molding and any architectural form can make or break the look and feel of any room, and so it should be done right starting from the correct computerized technology design software, the right machine calibration to cut it, the cutting/machining process itself and the coating layer or paint. WeCutFoam fabricated the moldings from foam, which from experience is the best choice for this application - The foam material is light-weight, easy to work with, to modify and to install, has unlimited design potential, resistant to moisture and water damage (will not warp or rot) and more cost effective than wood, for instance. EPS is typically the preferred substrate for all stucco and exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS) since it combines unlimited design potential with material strength and durability.
