The string section of the Capehart Pops Orchestra has released its debut album with top pop hits of the 20th Century performed in an easy listening, instrumental format.
CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. - Californer -- The Capehart Pops Orchestra 99 Strings section has released a 12 song album, 99 Strings From Hollywood, for streaming and download worldwide. The album features top pop hits from the 20th Century in an easy listening, instrumental format.
Songs on the 99 Strings From Hollywood CD include Asia Minor, Detour, Rumble, City of Angels, Brown Eyed Girl, A Thousand Stars, Magnet and Steel, Take Me in Your Arms, Love Power, House of the Rising Sun, Cherry Hill Park, and Moon River.
The songs were produced at TVS Studios in Hollywood, Bakersfield, Reno, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Atlanta. 99 Strings, the string section of the Capehart Pops Orchestra, is one of several featured artists within the Capehart Pops Orchestra who are issuing solo albums as well as working with the group. Others include Pete Goodeman (sax), Punpsy Keyes (organ), Charlie Favor (piano), Clutch Roberts (horn), Darwin Bishop (clarinet), C J Oldis (harmonica), Ocie Newton (banjo), Nick Malone (accordion), Heathcliff Cherry (clavinet), Diamodes DePalma (vibes), Tommy Guitar, Conchetto Rocco (cool jazz), and Eldon Ruies (flute).
