LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Carolyne Maraghi will star in Lifetime's movie The Cheerleader Escort. The movie premieres on September 14, 2019 at 8/7c. She will be playing the role of Stephanie Dodger, the fabulous cheerleading coach at a prestigious Philadelphia college. Don't miss the drama!
Carolyne was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and speaks fluent French. After graduating from theater school with a BFA in Theater Performance, she moved to Vancouver and immediately started booking roles while continuing to study acting and music at UBC. She eventually relocated to Toronto and started working in the city's vibrant theatre community as she was building her on-screen career. After a brief stint in NYC, she decided to move to Los Angeles and focus on Film & TV. She now splits her time between Los Angeles and Toronto, and appreciates the advantage she has of bring able to work on both sides of the border!
Carolyne has appeared in over 40 film, television, and theater productions since she began her career at the age of 16. She can currently be seen in the TV series Good Witch (Netflix & Hallmark), Workin' Moms (Netflix & CBS), and as the lead in the feature film End of Days, INC (Amazon). Other notable projects include the horror feature Toybox (Amazon), Hemlock Grove (Netflix), The Listener (NBC), The Firm (NBC), and Patricia Cornwell's At Risk and its sequel The Front (Lifetime).

Carolyne has a parallel career in music as a trumpet player. She had the chance to tour with a Funk Band in North America, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and is now regularly performing in Musicals, Jazz Bands and Orchestras in and around Los Angeles.
So far in her acting career, she's had the opportunity to play a trumpet player three times! In the TV Movie A Song From The Heart with Amy Grant, as a disgruntled member of a Funk Band in the film Picture Day, and as the lead in a play in NYC about a famous 1940s all-female Big Band called The Sweethearts of Swing.
Carolyne holds a 3rd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and continues to teach and train on a regular basis. Her family keeps her busy as she continues acting, taking classes, creating new projects, training, and serenading passers-by as she practices her melodious trumpet each and every day!
