Alten Construction starts renovation at Loma Vista Immersion Academy

PETALUMA, Calif. - Californer -- Alten Construction (https://www.altenconstruction.com/), a full-service San Francisco Bay Area commercial construction company, recently began the upgrades to Loma Vista Immersion Academy (https://www.oldadobe.org/Domain/9).

Alten Construction will work closely with Van Pelt Construction Services and TLCD Architecture to construct two new modular classroom buildings, totaling approximately 9,000 square feet. The new modern classrooms will feature teaching walls and incorporate lots of natural light from Clerestory windows. The team will perform all associated site improvements, and the property will also receive a power upgrade.

The $7 million project is slated for completion in summer 2021. During this time, the campus will remain active during construction.

Located at 207 Maria Drive in Petaluma, the school enrolls about 400 students. Loma Vista Immersion Academy emphasizes a bilingual, biliterate and bicultural community with positive cross-cultural attitudes and skills, resulting in an enriched experience for all learners as well as the community.
