VENTURA, Calif. - Californer -- Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (Cabrillo EDC), a nonprofit organization that is the largest affordable housing developer in Ventura County, today announced it has received a $175,000 contribution from U.S. Bank. The contribution will be used to help create safe and stable housing for children, families and communities to thrive.
"Creating equitable opportunities for our community requires resources, and we appreciate the support from U.S. Bank, which helps us continue to build and expand the innovative programs we're proud to offer," said Victory Brady, interim COO/CFO of Cabrillo EDC.
Cabrillo EDC develops and manages service-enriched, inclusive residential communities, ensuring access to affordable, secure, quality housing for lower-income families in the community. Through this work, they also provide residents in their properties with programs that include homework clubs, education for adults and youth, fitness and nutrition classes, empowerment and leadership training, and more.
