SAN DIEGO - Californer -- FIT4MOM, the nation's leading prenatal and postnatal fitness program, is proud to announce a special partnership with Feeding America to combat hunger across the United States. Throughout the month of September, FIT4MOM pledges to donate 10 meals to Feeding America for every new mom who attends their first FIT4MOM class, and 50 meals for every new mom who joins the program. The goal is to donate over 100,000 meals to Feeding America.

This initiative underscores FIT4MOM's commitment to supporting the well-being of mothers and their families. By connecting with new moms through fitness, FIT4MOM is extending its impact beyond health and wellness to address the critical issue of hunger in America.

Why It Matters:

• Feeding America is the nation's largest hunger-relief organization, working through a network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs. Last year alone, Feeding America provided meals to more than 40 million people.
• Hunger Facts: Nearly 12 million children, or 1 in 6, faced hunger in the U.S. last year. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated food insecurity, with an estimated 60 million people turning to food banks and food assistance programs.
• Impact of Donations: Ninety-eight percent of donations go directly into programs serving neighbors across the U.S.
