The Californer - Enshored Supports Ukrainian Orphanages Relocation to Scotland

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Californer -- Enshored, a leading business process outsourcing company, has pledged to support a Ukrainian orphanage with its relocation to Scotland.

Following an offer from a longstanding client to take over the work of their displaced team in Ukraine, Enshored decided to donate the profits to support those in need.

Ian Jackson, CEO of Enshored, said: "We are delighted to help our client, but we are not comfortable profiteering from the Russian invasion. So we have decided to ring-fence the profit from this work and donate it to Ukrainians in need."

Building on Jackson's Scottish roots, Enshored have partnered with Dnipro Kids, a Scottish charity that has been supporting Ukrainian orphanages since 2005. The donation will generate thousands of dollars and provide a monthly cash flow for the charity.

Due to the Russian invasion, Dnipro Kids finds itself forced to become an evacuation and resettlement agency. This March, the charity successfully evacuated 52 children from orphanages in Ukraine to their temporary home in Scotland.

Steven Carr, co-founder of Dnipro Kids and the spearhead of the evacuation process, said: "The generosity, support and kindness of so many people has been amazing. Our gratitude goes out to all those who have offered help to these children, who are now safe in Scotland. Our priority is to help them settle into Scotland for as long as is needed. The support from Enshored will make a tremendous difference in supporting the running costs for the children and team while they are in Scotland."
