BENGALURU, India - Californer -- iTech, a leading Healthcare IT Solutions vendor specializing in delivering a secure, affordable, and comprehensive Web-based Medical Billing & Practice Management Solution, implemented a seamless online patient payment feature called "expEDIum Direct Pay" to its expEDIum Medical Billing Software.
In expEDIum Direct pay feature, clinics can initiate an online payment transaction through the patient ledger seamlessly. Clinics can use "add payment transaction" from the Patient ledger module that they are already familiar with. When adding a payment transaction, clinics are directed to a credit card information page. Upon adding the credit card information and pressing the Pay button, the payment gateway is reached through our payment Intermediary "expEDIum Pay". A few seconds later, a payment acknowledgment screen comes up. The payment information is automatically added to the patient ledger and the patient balance is reconciled. Clinics also have the option for patients to set up digital wallets with InstaMed, a J.P Morgan company. Our payment intermediary, expEDIum Pay is PCI DSS certified. No sensitive cardholder data is stored in expEDIum Medical Billing or expEDIum Pay, it is saved by our chosen payment gateway and payment processor, InstaMed, a J.P. Morgan company, and stored on InstaMed's PCI Level One v3.2.1 Service Provider platform.
