LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Holman United Methodist Church hosts Last Chance Alliance's Big Oil Resistance Tour. Join religious and community leaders, and actor-activist Jane Fonda, to sound the rallying cry for environmental justice. Learn how to get involved in the effort to end fossil fuel production and consumption.

The Holman event is the first stop on a seven-city tour that includes "Los Angeles (Apr 28), Ventura (Apr 29), Santa Barbara (Apr 30), San Diego (May 6), Bakersfield (May 7), Oakland (May 12), and Sacramento (May 13)!" On tour, "Last Chance Alliance - representing 900+ community, environmental, and public health organizations worldwide -" aims to create a groundswell of support that will convince California Governor Gavin Newsom to "stop Big Oil...from fleecing [consumers] at the gas pump...end neighborhood drilling...and halt all new fossil fuel permits" (Action Network).
