SAN DIEGO, July 1, 2025 ~ San Diego-based wealth management provider, Independent Financial Group, LLC (IFG), has recently announced the addition of Bruce Levitus as their new Regional Recruiter. With over 20 years of executive leadership experience and a strong reputation for driving independent advisor growth, Bruce will be based in Pennsylvania and will play a crucial role in expanding IFG's reach.

Prior to joining IFG, Bruce held various senior positions at Osaic (formerly Advisor Group), including Senior Vice President overseeing Regional Wealth Management Consulting, Product Sales, Marketing, Education, and Investment Advisory Services. During his time there, he led strategic initiatives that helped shape one of the largest networks of financial professionals in the nation. His successful track record includes spearheading large-scale recruiting efforts, facilitating acquisitions, launching new platforms, and implementing advisor education programs.

David Fischer, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of IFG expressed his excitement about Bruce joining the team. "We are thrilled to welcome Bruce to IFG," he said. "His extensive experience and deep understanding of the independent industry will be invaluable in helping us attract top-performing advisors who align with our core values of independence, high-quality service, and unwavering integrity."

In his new role at IFG, Bruce will be responsible for executing the firm's full cycle recruiting strategy. This includes identifying and qualifying potential advisors, building long-term relationships with them, and guiding them through a smooth transition to IFG. He will also work closely with senior leadership to further expand IFG's presence in the market and maintain its competitive edge.

Bruce shared his reasons for choosing to join IFG: "I wanted to align with a firm that still values true independence—and I found that at IFG," he said. "Unlike other firms controlled by private equity, IFG prioritizes what is best for clients rather than what is best for us as a company. I was particularly impressed by their support for brokerage accounts, recognizing that not every client needs a fee-based solution in every situation. The IFG platform offers low minimums, robust support for annuities, insurance, and alternatives, and welcomes all types of clients."

With Bruce's addition to the team, IFG is confident in its ability to continue providing exceptional service to its clients and attracting top talent in the industry.
