FRANKLIN, Mass. - Californer -- Franklin MA - Jaco Incorporated, manufacturers of mobile and wall-mounted computer and tablet workstations for electronic healthcare records (EHR), today announced plans to showcase three new product offerings at the HIMSS22 Global Health Conference & Exhibition, March 14-18 in Orlando, FL:
All three offerings, as well as the full line of Jaco EVO and EVO Lite EHR carts, will be on display at Booth 5559 on the HIMSS22 exhibition hall in Orlando's Orange County Convention Center.
Updated Power Blade Hot Swap for EVO:
Longer runtimes, more flexibility
Jaco's dual-battery Power Blade – the industry's pioneering LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) hot-swap power solution – has led the industry in nurse convenience, fast charging, long battery life and hospital safety for nearly 10 years.
Power Blade Hot Swap for EVO is now available in two configurations: Power Blade Cordless, for 100% off-cart charging and true 24 x 7 unplugged mobility; and Power Blade Corded, which combines off-cart and on-cart charging to provide maximum power flexibility for nurses.
Both Cordless and Corded configurations are dual battery solutions that deliver 476 Wh total capacity – 17% more capacity than previous Power Blade versions, and in many cases enough to power a full shift without swapping. Power Blade batteries are rated and warranted for 4,000 recharge cycles, up to 3x longer than other hot swap batteries.
"With Power Blade for EVO, hospitals can build a cart fleet to meet the widest range of nurses' working preferences and clinical workflow requirements," said Fred Rossini, CEO of Jaco Inc. "Power Blade Cordless is the best choice for demanding clinical workflows with zero tolerance for downtime or loss of mobility. And new Power Blade Corded gives nurses the choice to swap in fresh batteries from a nearby Power Blade charger as needed, or to recharge batteries on the cart by plugging the cart into any outlet, when that's more convenient."

New EVO Wall Arms: EVO innovation and durability in two wall arm workstations
EVO Wall Arms are the first and only wall arm workstations built with EVO Comfort Glide Lift Technology. Comfort Glide lets nurses adjust the EVO Wall Arm's height and distance from the wall easily and silently with just one hand, and holds the wall station firmly in position after any adjustment.
Engineered for durability and investment protection, EVO Wall Arms are built from aircraft-grade metal - just like EVO carts - and designed to accommodate a wide variety of hardware including small form-factor PCs, all-in-one computers and flat-screen monitors up to 24"/20 lbs., standard and extra-large keyboards and more.
"Customers told us they were tired of having to buy and install new wall arms every time they upgraded computer hardware," said Rossini. "We designed, engineered and tested EVO Wall Arms to adapt easily to any medical-grade computing hardware. And we build them to last through multiple hardware upgrades."
EVO Wall Arms are now available in two models: EVO WA-JT, featuring a protective keyboard case that doubles as a large worksurface/mouse surface; and EVO WA-OT-JT, with an open keyboard tray and EVO's trademark ergonomic raised mouse tray. Available options include extended models that provide up to 57" radius of motion, mounts for hand-held barcode scanners and signature pads, and an exclusive lockable PC cabinet for an extra measure of data protection.

New EVO WS-27 Wall Station: Big-screen space-saver
Introduced in January, the EVO WS-27 EHR wall station accommodates a monitor or all-in-one PC up to 27" (diagonal). It also offers an in-wall installation option, for a workstation that projects just 1" from the wall.
EVO WS-27's two-piece design simplifies cabling and installation. Its keyboard tray has been refined to open and close silently, without disturbing hospital patients. Like all EVO products, EVO WS-27 is built entirely from aircraft-grade metal and finished with a high-gloss antimicrobial powder coat. Unlike wall stations built from plastic, EVO WA-27 can withstand regular UV-B or UV-C exposure without damage to its structure or finish – an important consideration for hospitals that have made or plan to make significant investments in full-room UV sterilization technology.

"EVO WS-27 is much more than a new wall station for larger screen displays," said Rossini. "It's the first wall station that incorporates the design innovations and advantages of our EVO carts – high-quality construction, rapid deployment, quiet operation, superior UV-ready infection control, trouble-free ownership and proven sustained value."
