Free Educational Event Set for October 5, 2024 in La Mesa, California
SAN DIEGO - Californer -- Aspiring homeowners in BIPOC (Black, Brown, and Indigenous People of Color) communities will have a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of buying their first home at the upcoming Workshop On Wheels Bus Tour, taking place on October 5, 2024 in La Mesa, California.
Hosted by Homeowner Prep, and sponsored by Bank of America, this half-day, interactive workshop is designed to demystify the home buying process, address common barriers, and provide participants with the tools they need to take the first step toward homeownership. This event will provide invaluable guidance on personal credit, the home loan pre-approval process, down payment assistance programs, and hiring the right real estate professionals.
In addition to the educational content, participants will have the opportunity to experience real-life house hunting with a licensed home inspector. A chartered executive bus will be provided to visit homes for sale in the local area, giving aspiring homeowners a firsthand look at the options available and practical tips for evaluating potential properties. To cap off the day, a free catered lunch will be provided, offering a chance for networking with other attendees and professionals in the real estate industry.
