Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach, CA - The City of Long Beach is hosting a Veteran and Service Member Job Fair in collaboration with the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Veterans Support. The event will take place on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network Adult Career Services Center located at 4811 Airport Plaza Dr.
This job fair aims to provide opportunities for veterans and service members who are transitioning from military to civilian life. Attendees will have the chance to network and meet with potential employers from both the public and private sectors. The event will also feature a resume review bar and interview stations to assist attendees in their job search.
In addition to employment resources, there will be mental health, healthcare, housing, and homelessness prevention resources available for attendees. A Veterans Administration home loan workshop will also be offered during the event. While the focus is on providing resources for veterans and transitioning service members, this free event is open to the public.

Some of the participating employers include the Long Beach Police Department, Long Beach Fire Department, Long Beach Human Resources Department, Long Beach Civil Service Department, and Allied Universal. The Port of Long Beach is also supporting this event.
