Los Angeles County Now Distributing Vote by Mail Ballots to Registered Voters in Long Beach

Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach, CA - The Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk has officially begun the distribution of Vote by Mail ballots for the upcoming Nov. 5, 2024 General Municipal Election. This move aims to make voting more accessible and convenient for all registered voters in Los Angeles County, including those in Long Beach.

According to the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's office, all registered voters in Los Angeles County will receive a Vote by Mail ballot in the mail. This includes Long Beach residents who can expect to receive their ballots soon. Voters have the option to return their completed ballots by mail with no postage required or drop them off at any Vote Center or Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Box located throughout Los Angeles County.

In Long Beach alone, there are 19 designated drop box locations where voters can securely and conveniently submit their ballots. Two new drop boxes have been added at DeForest Park and Wardlow Park, bringing the total number of participating locations in Los Angeles County to over 400.

Some of the other Long Beach drop box locations include Bixby Park Community Center, Burnett Neighborhood Library, and Houghton Park Community Center. These drop boxes will be open 24 hours a day until 8 p.m. on Election Day.

To ensure transparency and ease for voters, all ballots can be tracked through the California BallotTrax website at https://california.ballottrax.net/voter/. Additionally, more information about voting options and registration can be found on lavote.gov.
