LOS ANGELES, Jan. 13, 2025 ~ As the devastating wildfires continue to ravage through Los Angeles, Olight, a global leader in portable lighting solutions, has stepped up to support the affected communities. In response to the crisis, Olight has donated 1,336 flashlights with a total value of $56,830.
According to U.S. official media reports, the fires have caused widespread destruction and have claimed 11 lives while leaving 13 individuals missing. The disaster has also displaced over 180,000 residents and scorched approximately 145 square kilometers of land. As a result, millions of households are currently without power.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received the generous donation from Olight's headquarters team who were attending CES 2025 in Las Vegas from January 7th to 10th when they received news of the crisis. Without hesitation, the team made the decision to set out for Los Angeles and first reached out to their fans to assess their safety before bringing critical lighting equipment to support rescue efforts.
On January 12th at 7:00 AM PST, the Olight team departed for Los Angeles with a shipment of Seeker 4 Pro, Sphere, Perun 3, Oclip, Olantern Music and other reliable and versatile lighting devices that are ideal for various rescue scenarios. These products were carefully chosen for their durability and versatility in order to provide effective lighting solutions in this critical time.
