The Human Growth Foundation's Virtual 5K Run & Walk for Kids' Growth will be held the week of June 6-13, 2020.
Californer -- The Human Growth Foundation (HGF) announces Pfizer as this year's Gold Sponsor of the HGF Virtual 5K Run & Walk for Kids' Growth. The charitable event takes place on June 6 - 13, 2020. Registration is open online at RunWalkForKidsGrowth.org.
Due to COVID-19, HGF changed the annual race and fun walk into a virtual event.
HGF executive director Patricia Costa says, "The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenge for everyone, but we at the Human Growth Foundation hope that, with the help of our partners, we will continue to raise awareness of childhood growth disorders. It's important because if a child isn't growing, that could be a sign of a significant health issue. Pfizer's compassionate support of this event allows us to further our mission."
