Chamber will continue to focus on providing support to small businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Californer -- Santa Clara-based Silicon Valley Central Chamber of Commerce (SVCCC) board of directors named Ravinder LaL as Chairman. LaL has served on the SVCCC board of directors since 2014, most recently as Chair-elect, and will replace Christopher Boyd of Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center. The owner of several The UPS Store locations, his top priority will be continuing to focus on small businesses facing challenges due to COVID-19.
"It is my honor and privilege to serve as the 2020/2021 Chairman of the Silicon Valley Central Chamber of Commerce," said LaL. "In this unprecedented time, The SV Central Chamber of Commerce is still moving forward by offering new networking, marketing and learning opportunities. We continue to make important connections for our membership, and we continue being the voice for businesses of all size. I pledge to continue our tradition of making bold decisions, being innovative, and making this the best possible chamber for our members, constituents, and community."

At the upcoming Virtual Annual Membership Meeting on August 20, Boyd will hand off the gavel to incoming Chair LaL who will introduce new board members and share their vision for the future.
