Experience nature in a stunning visual display through 16mm photo shots captured by the artist
WOODSIDE, Calif. - Californer -- Aryan Mehra invites you to his much-anticipated exhibition WILD, at the Kriewall-Haehl Gallery in Rothrock Performing Arts Center at the Woodside Priory School in Portola Valley CA running from August 12 to September 26.
Aryan is a senior at The Nueva High School in San Mateo and the creator of @16mmphotos, named after the focal length, 16mm, known for its ability to capture crisp close-up foregrounds and stunning backgrounds in one shot. The mostly black and white exhibition captures majestic and vulnerable moments in time of nature and wildlife photography.
"I was inspired to become a photographer in 2019 as I embarked on a road trip from San Francisco to British Columbia and captured nature along the coast with a used camera gifted to me. Since then, I have embarked on many mindful expeditions with friends and family including a week-long backpacking trip in Yosemite and summiting Exit Glacier in Alaska," said Aryan while announcing his solo exhibition.
Opening Reception: The opening reception will be held on Friday, September 6, 6-8 pm, in the Kriewall-Haehl Gallery at the Woodside Priory School. The event will feature the artist's work, wine and appetizers, and an opportunity to meet Aryan Mehra.
