INTENT TO ADOPT A NEGATIVE DECLARATION
CITY OF SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA
Project Name: 2905 and 2911 Senter Road General Plan Amendment File Nos.: GP21-007, C21-029
Description: The project is a General Plan Amendment request to change the General Plan Land Use Designation from Neighborhood Community Commercial to Mixed Use Commercial on an approximately 1.05-gross acre parcel. The project also proposes a Conforming Rezoning from CN Commercial Neighborhood to MUC Mixed-Use Commercial Zoning District.
Location: The project site is comprised of two parcels (Assessor's Parcel Numbers 497-27-110 and -011) located on the southwest corner of Lewis Road and Senter Road.

The City has performed an environmental review of the project. The environmental review examines the nature and extent of any adverse effects on the environment that could occur if the project is approved and implemented. Based on the review, the City has prepared a Draft Negative Declaration (ND) for this project. An ND is a statement by the City that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment. The project site is not present on any list pursuant to Section 65962.5 of the California Government Code.

The public is welcome to review and comment on the Draft ND. The public comment period for this Draft ND begins on November 12, 2021 and ends on December 2, 2021.
