ALHAMBRA, Calif., March 18, 2025 ~ On Saturday, March 15, Seen Health, a revolutionary healthcare provider focused on transforming senior care, celebrated the grand opening of its first flagship Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) center in San Gabriel Valley. The event was attended by co-founders Yang and Xing Su, as well as local and state officials.

Among the esteemed guests were U.S. Representative Judy Chu, California Assemblymember Mike Fong, State Senator Sasha Renée Pérez's office, Alhambra Mayor Katherine Lee and Councilwoman Noya Wang, Monterey Park Mayor Vinh Ngo, San Gabriel Councilmember Tony Ding, and members of the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce. Also present were Dr. Kenneth Sim and Dr. Thomas Lam, co-founders of Astrana Health.

During her speech at the celebration, Congresswoman Judy Chu praised Seen Health's PACE program for its dedication to providing quality care to seniors. She stated that there are currently 12 million older adults in the United States struggling to find adequate care and that Seen Health's PACE center is stepping up to meet this challenge.

The grand opening event featured a speech by Rongmei (Emma) Wang, the first participant in Seen Health's program. There was also a traditional lion dance performance and a children's dance performance to celebrate the occasion. This milestone marks a significant step in reimagining aging and expanding access to personalized care for seniors. Seen Health's PACE center offers a level of quality and coordination that is unmatched by traditional healthcare options, allowing seniors to age comfortably at home.

With California's rapidly growing senior population, there is an urgent need for innovative care options. In San Gabriel Valley alone, over 17% of residents are 65 or older, with over 300,000 seniors in the area and approximately 30% identifying as Chinese-American. Seen Health is filling a critical gap by providing culturally-focused care that prioritizes whole-person health, dignity, and community.

The PACE center is designed to promote comfort and connection, with open communal areas, natural lighting, and cultural elements that honor the participants' identities. Unlike traditional senior services, Seen Health combines expert clinical care with personalized social and cultural support in the participants' native languages.

Co-Founder and CEO of Seen Health, Xing Su, stated that the company was founded to redefine what aging with dignity looks like. She emphasized that seniors from underserved communities often face healthcare systems that do not understand their needs or honor their identities. Seen Health is changing this by building care around the people they serve.

Since its launch on January 1, 2025, Seen Health has been delivering exceptional care to seniors in the San Gabriel Valley community. In addition to coordinated medical services, participants also receive daily meals prepared in partnership with local restaurants, door-to-door transportation, and engage in cultural activities such as art classes, Mahjong, and tai chi. By integrating healthcare with meaningful social and cultural experiences, Seen Health has created a thriving community where seniors feel seen, heard, and supported.

Co-Founder Yang Su stated that Seen Health is not just another senior care option but is setting a new standard for what is possible. He noted that for too long, seniors have had to choose between fragmented healthcare or being placed in nursing homes when they could thrive at home. Seen Health offers a comprehensive alternative tailored to their lives.

The grand opening of Seen Health's PACE center marks an exciting development in senior care in San Gabriel Valley. With its commitment to personalized and culturally-focused care for seniors, Seen Health is revolutionizing the way we think about aging with dignity.
