Help bring access to information, resources, and support groups to the Northern California Parkinson's community
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Californer -- Big Day of Giving comes at a crucial time. The pandemic affected everyone, but people with Parkinson's disease who relied on local support groups found themselves isolated and disconnected. Big Day of Giving is an opportunity for donors to rally around organizations like the Parkinson Association of Northern California (PANC) and help make our community stronger, healthier, and more vibrant.
This year's giving day follows nine years of growth for the event, which reached new heights last year when nonprofits in the Sacramento region raised $13.3 million, of which PANC raised nearly $20,000! The giving days organized by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation have generated more than $65 million for local organizations since 2013.
