New Lease with Jeweler at 587 East Colorado Brings The Swig Company's Iconic Building to 100% Occupied
PASADENA, Calif. - Californer -- Robbins Brothers Fine Jewelers has signed a lease for retail and office space at 587 East Colorado Blvd., within The Swig Company's 595 East Colorado building. The ground floor will serve as the 100-year-old jewelry chain's new showcase prototype store and a portion of the second floor will house some administrative offices. Occupancy is expected to begin in the third quarter of the year.

The Swig Company was represented by Katie Cowan, Shaun Stiles, and Hayden Clegg of Newmark. Robbins Brothers Jewelry, Inc. was represented by Guardian Commercial Realty.
Robbins Brothers began with a single jewelry store in Seattle, WA, in 1921. In the 1950s, the family business moved to California, taking over an existing business at 367 East Colorado in Pasadena. Today, the company operates 13 stores in four states: Arizona, California, Texas, and Washington.
Built in 1928, 595 East Colorado Blvd. is a distinguished Beaux Arts-inspired LEED Gold and WELL Certified office building and a registered historic landmark in Pasadena's Playhouse District. The first floor was formerly home to a well-known bank branch and retains its original grandeur. The retail space includes a grand first-floor entrance featuring soaring 30-foot coffered ceilings and historic chandeliers and wall murals.
