SAN DIEGO, Oct. 18, 2024 ~ Turning Point Ministries, the renowned broadcast company founded by Dr. David Jeremiah, has recently unveiled its new state-of-the-art media studio in San Diego. This grand opening marks a significant milestone for the ministry as it continues to spread the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world through various media formats.
The new studio, located at Turning Point's headquarters, boasts the latest in audio, visual, and digital technology. This allows Dr. Jeremiah's production team to create a diverse range of content that can be distributed across multiple platforms.
Dr. David Jeremiah and his son David Michael Jeremiah, President and CEO of Turning Point, share their vision for the future of Turning Point Media Studios. "This is not just a media studio for today's landscape but for the future," says David Michael Jeremiah at the dedication ceremony on October 4th, 2024. "We wanted to ensure that it is a force for reaching people for Christ."
The studio features two separate recording spaces - the Esbenshade Studio and Studio Two. The Esbenshade Studio spans over 6,400 square feet and is designed for recording programs with a live audience. On the other hand, Studio Two covers 5,700 square feet and offers endless possibilities as a flex studio.

One of the most impressive aspects of this new studio is its infrastructure and technology that allow ideas to be created, recorded, edited, and distributed within hours. This enables Turning Point to reach people with the Word of God in various ways.
Some key features of the studio include an audience capacity of 150 people, 150 lights, four state-of-the-art industry advanced cameras with support for 10 additional cameras, three standing sets, and 900 amps of power. The studio is also built with 270,000 pounds of concrete to create a dense soundproof barrier and has 152,000 feet of cable connecting back to the Data Center hub.
Moreover, the studio is equipped with a soundboard that can run 140 channels of live audio, supporting anything from a single mic for a sermon to large musical groups and live streams across both studios simultaneously. It also offers twelve channels of video recording and provides both standard recording coverage and back-up recording coverage.
When asked about his excitement for the new studio, Dr. David Jeremiah said, "The ability to take the years of messages that were originally filmed in letterbox and reshoot them for new broadcasting opportunities." He also expressed his joy in knowing that the studio is dedicated to the Lord and that everything done there will bring honor to Him as they continue to reach the world with the Gospel.
