Long Beach, CA – Beginning Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, the City of Long Beach-operated COVID-19 testing and vaccine sites at both Long Beach City College locations (Veterans Stadium and Pacific Coast Campus) will relocate and expand operations to El Dorado Park Recreation Center and Martin Luther King Jr. Park Central Facilities Center, offering additional pediatric clinics and indoor services to be more accommodating of the community's current needs. Since the start of the pandemic, the Health Department has conducted more than 1,070,400 tests and administered more than 351,900 doses of vaccine. The Health Department will continue to operate COVID-19 testing and vaccine clinics up to seven days a week.
"We are thrilled to be able to continue to provide the community with ongoing access to testing and vaccine," said Mayor Rex Richardson. "This relocation is a testament to our commitment to the health and well-being of the community and the success we have had in our fight against COVID-19."
Testing Clinics
Effective Jan. 30, the schedule for City-run COVID-19 testing sites will be as follows:
To make an appointment, visit longbeach.gov/covid19testing or call 562.570.4636. People also may contact their healthcare provider or area pharmacies to get tested. For other sites across Los Angeles County, people can visit covid19.lacounty.gov/testing/.

Mobile Services
The Health Department also offers mobile COVID-19 vaccine and testing services. This is a free service available to Long Beach residents who are not able to travel to one of the City's COVID-19 vaccination or testing sites. To request a mobile vaccine visit, go to longbeach.gov/vaxLB or call 562.570.4636. To request a mobile testing visit, go to longbeach.gov/covid19testing or call 562.570.4636.
The Health Department continues to urge everyone to get vaccinated and boosted when eligible, as it remains the single best way to protect yourself and those around you against COVID-19. Vaccines are safe and effective in reducing the likelihood of contracting COVID-19 and preventing hospitalization, serious illness or death among breakthrough cases of the virus.
