Vibe Headshots, a Bay Area–based technology startup, announced the public launch of its AI-powered platform that lets individuals, students, and teams create professional headshots and matching LinkedIn banners through a single online workflow.
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- The launch comes as professional evaluation has shifted online, with recruiters and hiring managers increasingly relying on LinkedIn profiles and digital resumes as primary screening tools. While professional photography has long been associated with career advancement, traditional studio sessions often require significant time, cost, and coordination, placing them out of reach for many early-career professionals and students.
Vibe Headshots was founded by product designer and entrepreneur Matt Bulbul, who began exploring how generative AI could simplify the process while maintaining professional standards.

"I kept seeing talented people held back by something as basic as a photo," Bulbul said. "But what stood out even more was how many profiles looked incomplete. A professional headshot paired with a generic or empty LinkedIn banner sends a mixed message. We wanted to address the full profile, not just one piece of it."
Addressing the Complete Profile Presentation
Most AI-based headshot tools focus exclusively on portrait generation. Vibe Headshots differentiates itself by pairing professional headshots with custom-designed LinkedIn banners intended to create a cohesive visual presentation across a user's profile.
The platform allows users to upload a single image, from which it generates multiple headshot variations along with matching banner designs. Final assets are delivered in high resolution and formatted for professional use across LinkedIn, resumes, and websites.
"A headshot is only part of the picture," Bulbul said. "Profiles that look complete and intentional tend to stand out more in recruiter searches."

Use Cases Beyond Individuals
While the initial focus is on individuals and early-career professionals, Vibe Headshots is also seeing early interest from startups, schools, and organizations seeking scalable alternatives to traditional photo days.
Career services teams and remote organizations have expressed interest in using the platform to support students and employees without coordinating in-person photography sessions.
"There will always be a place for traditional photography," Bulbul said. "But for organizations managing distributed teams or large student populations, coordination becomes the real challenge."
Looking Ahead
Vibe Headshots plans to continue refining its platform based on user feedback, with future updates focused on workflow improvements and additional profile optimization features.
