Our Warriors Deserve to Wake Up in Their Own Bed on Christmas!
SAN DIEGO - Californer -- In a proud annual tradition that embodies the spirit of the season, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station and our partners—iHeart Radio, CBS 8, Armstrong & Getty, and SeaWorld San Diego—are raising funds to fly our ill and injured Warriors "Home for the Holidays"! For those injured while serving our country—and facing the challenges of recovery, rehabilitation, and transition to civilian life—there is no greater gift than returning home to their families for the holidays.
In addition to flights home, Warrior Foundation assists injured Warriors year-round with a variety of programs, including adaptive sports, outdoor therapy, Dress for Success, vocational projects, scholarships, career guidance, and more. Most notably, we provide transitional housing at our three Freedom Stations, which offer injured Warriors the time, guidance, and resources to successfully transition from military service to civilian life.
