Cabrillo EDC joins nearly 250 NeighborWorks network organizations to celebrate NeighborWorks Week, June 4-11 by hosting a Mental Health Fair for community residents
VENTURA, Calif. - Californer -- In partnership with national nonprofit NeighborWorks, the Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (Cabrillo EDC) will be hosting a Mental Health Fair at Paseo de Luz Apartments in Oxnard, June 10, 1:30 to 4:30 pm. The event will help bring communities together and support NeighborWorks' goal to help empower communities for success.
"We are looking forward to being a part of NeighborWorks Week. Supporting our communities through partnerships and events like our Paseo de Luz Mental Health fair, is a win-win to all of us at Cabrillo EDC and our residents," said Denise Bickerstaff, Director of Business Development and Administration at Cabrillo EDC. "We hope the resources provided at the fair will help empower people to enhance their lives and continue the collaborative strides towards a healthier, stronger community."

During NeighborWorks Week, NeighborWorks network organizations around the country celebrate the successes of communities and how NeighborWorks and residents work together to empower people to enhance their lives. During this week-long celebration of neighborhood improvement residents and volunteers will come together to improve our community and recognize the progress residents have already made.
Paseo de Luz is a 24-unit CEDC property, located in Oxnard California, that provides affordable housing for individuals living with mental illness and formerly homeless individuals.
