LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Cal State LA's Master of Science in Nursing program continues to rise as one of the best in the nation, according to the U.S. News & World Report's 2025 edition of Best Graduate Schools. The ranking puts the university's nursing graduate program among the top five in the state of California.
This year's publication ranked Cal State LA at No. 30 in the nation, moving up 11 notches from the previous year. It is one of only two public universities in Los Angeles County included in the 2025 Best Nursing Schools: Master's listing.
"We are honored that our nurse practitioner program has been ranked 30th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report," said Eurina Cha, inaugural Luce and Ernst Nursing Director of the university's Patricia A. Chin School of Nursing. "This recognition reflects the dedication of our exceptional faculty, staff, and students, as well as our commitment to academic excellence, clinical innovation, and community-focused care. As we continue to grow and evolve, we remain focused on preparing nurse leaders who will advance health equity and deliver high-quality, compassionate care across diverse populations."
