In addition to recognizing the progress made in rebuilding and restoring communities, Governor Newsom will also use this opportunity to highlight recent news from Sacramento. The following day, he signed legislation aimed at strengthening California's commitment to film and television production.
As Californians gear up for Fourth of July celebrations this weekend, safety remains a top priority. The state is taking steps to ensure that communities are prepared for festivities by increasing outreach and highlighting available resources.
As we reflect on the past six months since the Los Angeles firestorms, it is important to recognize both the devastation caused by this disaster and the resilience shown by those affected. Tomorrow's event serves as a reminder of both these aspects as well as a testament to the progress made towards rebuilding and restoring these communities.
