TUSTIN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Continuing to push the envelope with advanced ultrasound depth and detail plus ultimate comfort features for enhanced sonographer workflow, Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. will showcase its premium Aplio i-series ultrasound platform with new design features at this year's virtual Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting.

The Aplio i-series, a highly advanced yet scalable ultrasound solution made up of the Aplio i700, Aplio i800 and Aplio i900 systems, now features:
  • Ultimate customization and personalized system positioning with FleXstyle, which enables easy sonographer adaptation and operational flexibility. Featuring a programmable touchscreen panel for tailored layout and electric lifting* for easy up and down of the control panel (including when operating on battery power for seamless portable exams), FleXstyle provides intuitive workflow and Healthy Sonographer ergonomics.
  • Faster workflow with Ultra-Wide View**, which helps sonographers have a wider view of the scan to see more anatomy and acquire images quickly with superb depth and detail. Ultra-Wide View improves diagnostic confidence by enlarging the visualized area under examination, while still maintaining high image quality. It additionally improves visualization to support the biometric assessment of large organs (e.g. liver, placenta).
